Lead Me On: Dreams Will Poem by The Dreamers Movement

Lead Me On: Dreams Will

Flighty thoughts give flight to dreams and dreams will lead me on.
Dreamy eyes see visions of things that may not be possible but dreams will lead me on.
Lying lips tell half truths to try and hide that pain but dreams will lead me on.
Fragile hands try to hold together the shattered pieces of a life lost and dreams shall lead me on.
Decorated wrists tell stories that don’t want to be told and dreams will lead me on.
Wandering feet go into dark places to cover up the true longing inside but dreams will lead me on.
Broken hearts are stitched together to try and stop the bleeding but dreams will lead me on.
Broken bodies, falling apart before us, dance in graceful fluid movements so that no one can see the truth behind the motivation.

Stop trying to hide.

Show us how you are and how you hurt so that maybe we can mend together.
We are all hurting in some way and are all trying to hide our scars trying to hide open wounds that are still bleeding.
Why hide when the doctor is right in front of you.
He’s waiting for you.

What are you waiting for?

Let dreams lead you on to the healer…….
