Lazy Afternoon Poem by Yang Yang

Lazy Afternoon

Walking through the pathways
I caught a glimpse of you
Orange rays kiss your face
White clouds and rivers blue

Graceful arms above your head
Bouncing your way and fly
Birds sing the words you said
The apple of my eye

Gentle breezes rustle
Ruffling your raven hair
Fluttering, tousled
Yet to linger fair

As the sun sets to sleep
To the west, slumbers deep
Your gentle smile, your sweet presence
In my dreams, my only essence
