Lay It On My Heart Poem by Asma Khan

Lay It On My Heart

I became whoever you needed me to be
But may be it's the end of it

I fell head over heels you asked me to be
But may be it's the way it went to me

I traded my time for the secrets you gave me to keep
but may be it's out in the sun to see

I wished to hold myself once like me
But may be it's the heart to let free

I kissed all the pains you offered me through
But may it's the death to soothe me

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It's very coincidental moment, which has brought me to pen down the pain in such a way. Sometimes you are not to decide but to take the decision...!
