Lay by my side,
Let me play with your hair.
We can talk till two in the morn,
Without nary a care.
Lay your head on my pillow,
But don't close your eyes.
So I can see that glow,
While my heart softly sighs.
Speak softly my sweet,
Whisper in my ear.
So that in our private retreat,
No one else can hear.
There is no other place,
That I'd rather be.
Than watching you face,
As you lie next to me.
