Laws Of Love Poem by Bobby Pask

Laws Of Love

Rating: 5.0

You don't know
What you do to me.
I would do
Anything just to have thee.

You have a grasp
On my heart.
I constantly gasp
As I get hit by the love dart.

You are the only
One I want to have in my arms.
If only you could see
The pure strength of your charms.

I've been shot down
Like in the old west.
I want to give you the crown
For you are the only one I couldn't best.

My soul burns
When you are away.
My stomach churns
Whenever you can't stay.

My words are no match
For what I feel inside.
You are the greatest catch
In the most dangerous tide.

I need your heat
Beside me at night.
That would be a real treat
To have sleep come around right.

The race
Is nearly finished.
I've stated my case
Of love that can't be diminished.
