Laura Desantis Poem by Dan Walters

Laura Desantis

Rating: 2.7

All those years
Yeah I know it much have been hard
Growing up
You've expressed in vivid detail
Yeah I know that had to suck
You said you let it go
A long, long time ago
And now it's fine
You really thought you had
And I used to really think the same
Until just late
But I've known just
How hideous you are
On the inside
Since the day
You began ripping my family apart
But I believed it was behind you
You know...
Then I started seeing
Someone who belongs in an institution
Rightfully so.
I don't fear
But I am in the utmost concern
Because there shouldn't
Be people in society
With, a disorder I guess
I'll call it, such as yours.
Yeah I know, product of
Your surroundings and
Childhood lays the foundation
But please, don't bring
This on me
