Lauded By The Literary Critics Poem by Francis Duggan

Lauded By The Literary Critics

Rating: 5.0

Lauded by the literary critics for the beauty in wheir words they create
Some modern novelists, playwrights, poets and other writers are looked on as great
And though the critics may boost their book sales when their praises they sing
Greatness to most people can be a relative thing
Since on all things all people do never agree
The one who is great to you may not be so to me
So many good writers do never receive the credit they are due
This is only saying something that is known to be true
A good review from the literary critics to an author can be an asset indeed
To a successful writing career it can be the seed
The writers the critics do choose to ignore
More than likely will never rise to the literary fore
Some very good writers receive the credit they are due
This is something that only happens for to be true.
