Late Bloomer 2 Poem by Denn Meneses

Late Bloomer 2

Rating: 4.0

I wasn’t looking
when I found you
looking at me
looking at you.

It could have been
a twist of fate
a stroke of luck
a leap of faith.

Or was it
serendipity
coincidence
or meant to be?

A cruel joke
it doesn’t matter
I took the plunge
no need to ponder.

I’ll seize the moment
I’ll walk a mile
I’ll hold my breath
and lurk
in the shadows
of your mind
for a while.

I understood this one. A very simple poem. Well designed and patterned. GW62

I like the way this poem is put Denn, The idea of coincedince, or perhaps something stronger like fate hangs in the balance of whom we meet.
