Lasted nine days
Emma was in the fullness of love
Sending it to James who might talk

She should take comfort
In having had at least
One real man

As willing to bring forth a spring of red wine
All she needed was a guitar
And an olive hat

(dedicated to a great poet, Philip Dacey)
