Last School Night Poem by Aimee Brimson

Last School Night

Rating: 3.0

We can put down roots
Through-out all our shoots.

Our night has arrived
The emotions are all running high.

You gave us a choice
We didn't shout over your voice.

We move around a bit
Don't see what's wrong with it.

Reflecting on our work
Memories that once were heard.

Beats staying in one place
Becoming all ace.

Happiness and laughter everywhere I go
Chit chats in the corridors and stairs and so.

At first we weren't sure about this school
With its policies and rules.

Teachers said it was alright
And we didn't want to fight.

Therefore the heart and soul
Is us all
For this very school.
