Last Of The Night Poem by gina layog

Last Of The Night

I saw the white light of dawn caressed the vestal night,
Rivulets of light passed painfully through the naked night,
for it clings to the true sky,
Evidence hidden among the stars somewhere,
folded remains stash amid the searing pangs of regret,
Fresh light of dawn seeps into the nexus of delight,
As it mockingly whisk away the parting embrace of the night
