Fashioned Heart Poem by gina layog

Fashioned Heart

Rating: 5.0

Fashioned me a heart, where do I start?
passionately create this rare work of art,
one that's made of gold,
doesn't corrodes as it grows old,
(a handsome resale value)
one that's made of steel
never breaks its will,
(steel: a fusion of two metals, an alloy)
one made of stone,
doesn't matter if it shatters,
(non-consumable by fire)
one made of fragrant, fresh, winter roses,
colognes the senses, entices this soul
(water doesn't have the power)
the kind that doesn't bind,
yours to mine (needed to be bound, bonded)
one that doesn't feel the pain,
that lasts a hundred lifetime
This heart designed as I require....
