'Last Few Words' Poem by Wolfie Scott

'Last Few Words'

One last thing before I sleep.
Why my heart was shattered.
You were there to help with every piece.
When I thought nothing mattered.

I'll still be watching you from hell above.
I may have left, but I left for love.

Hold onto the words I say within my last breath.
Remember them as I lay to rest.

Hold onto them tight for they were true.
My last few words were 'I love you.'
