'The Fallen Angel' Poem by Wolfie Scott

'The Fallen Angel'

I fly to you but on my way. My wings break 'help' is all I can say.
My body to the ground a heavy impact. Pain rolled in as soon as I made contact.
Crying in pain not moving at all. Broke every bone in my body from that fast and hard fall.
But yet I still stand. You slowly reach out with one hand.
I grasp your arm pulling you down in my tears you might drown.
We lay there in blood from my wings no longer threw the sky my wings can sing.
No longer can I fly threw the starry night sky watching you from above.
But now below.. with you my love.
