Lalala Poem by Cindy Tang

Lalala

LaLaLa
You'd think that lalala is old
but no, think again.
The old is what's new
and the new is what's old.
What? I don't know for sure,
but that's just how our twisted world works.

LaLaLa
A timeless tune,
forever keeping its youth
bathing in the innocence of the unknown
the beginning and the end
of songs long forgotten.

LaLaLa
Tell me already! What does it mean?
Ask away my friend, ask away,
but everyone will have their take
on the empty meaningful LaLaLa
that will ring through the air
Everyday.

Sort of like doodling on paper with a pen
