Lake Pend Orielle Poem by Rachel Rudland

Lake Pend Orielle

Rating: 4.0

The sapphire blue waves on the shore
Caused the seagulls to want to soar,
The evergreen trees waved hi
As the wind whistled by,
The boats on the lake
make this scene a grand landscape

(Pend Orielle is pronounced Ponderay)

A very nice write, Rachel. I'm glad you told us how to pronounce the name of the lake. I would've had trouble with that one. thanks Richard
