Poets define it
As an eternal beauty...
Monks admire
Its serenity...
And, for a neo initiate,
Bengal is a great mystery!
Here, every one shares
some untold story...
And, everyone longs
for its past glory...
Well, it is known
For its cherished history
But, its charisma lies
In its humanity!
Note: Some of the great social reformers and humanists belong to Kolkata or Calcutta.
