Knowledge Poem by Andre Brown

Knowledge

Rating: 5.0

Knowledge is the life of the mind,
Either we know it or where to find out about it, knowledge is of two kinds,
Thinking is the hardest work there is which is why it pays to make decisions,
Fix reason firmly in her seat and question her every opinion,
All of our reasoning ends in surrender to feeling,
Which involves empathy as well as intuition, thoughts, and emotional well being,
If you have seen farther it is from standing on the shoulders of giants,
The people in your life that support you are one of the main reasons we triumph,
Do not judge a man by his answers but rather by his questions,
A man's mind once expanded by a new idea never regains its original dimensions.
