Knight And The Lady. (Monologue Of The Brave.) Poem by Marcondes Pereira

Knight And The Lady. (Monologue Of The Brave.)

She came from the garden of heaven, full of grace.
She calms down my beast inside. I need to touch her face.
My Helen of Troy, angel bathed by light
Without you, I'm a demon wandering in the night.

Stars, moon, sun and nature sing about your beauty.
I'm your lover, your child, your slave.
When I'll be in your arms... I'll be save.
Save me from barbarian rhymes of war... Give me eternity.

If my monologue beneath shy moon
Reach your heart, soul, emotions and innocence.
We shall become one soon.

If my monologue warms your romanticism and conscience,
I'll give to you my flesh, my desire, my (life) weak noon.
We will seize the day, out of this hell full of ignorance.
