Kitten Poem by kaylee candy

the kitten just stopped
and as she stared
at the one that loved
and fed and cared
she would no longer be there

that kitten she ran
ran from her troubles
cause she knows that she can
she was scared of what
her fate would hold
her mom was leaving
sad but old

the kitten was taken
to a new home
it was sad
and so the story goes on

till this day that kitten is here
her mom was oh so near
to her heart
but death tore them apart

she still doesnt know
how her mom died
and when she finds out
im sure she will cry

this kitten is older now
6 or 7 when
she is still here
but until then
she is my cat
and the truth is just that
