Kiss Of Death Poem by Hasina Khan

Kiss Of Death

Halo sat firmly upon his beautiful head
Wind whistled an erie tune
Warnings hidden deep beneath mountainous sand dunes
Life’s little magic tricks
Unbearable antics

Dreams of Tropicana sun
Soft breeze
Gently blowing trees
Soon turned to wild winds and raging leaves
Halo sits firmly upon his head

Crystal waters sand between the toes
Have mercy as murky waters rose
Ship has steered off course
My captain led himself to hell
Halo sits firmly un-phased by the swell

Angel eyes transparently faithful
Kiss of death now sealed its fate
Devil touched his lips and smiled
Halo will now morph with mine

Golden ray now burning red
Once a rare jewel
Now scorched instead
A clandestine arrangement
Hidden from divine
A fool has been found
Your LIFE
Shall be forever unkind
