I was that girl who's scared to fall
Feared to be hurt, so I build a wall
Locking my heart safe in a chest
Keeping it asleep is what I do best.

For years I stayed behind the wall
But then you came and ruined it all
Never thought it would be kismet
And in a strange way, we first meet

So easy, how you get my attention
Not knowing your true intentions
With your sweet words, I opened a way
Letting my guard down and asked you to stay.

I opened my world for you to see
In your presence, I smiled with glee
I gave you the key to have my heart
Decided to give into love, and with you is a start.
