Kingdom Poem by helena masiello

Kingdom

I have done it now
killed the loving trust
a husband grants his wife
I've lied and so I must

for somewhere long the way
I caught up in the game
and somehow surpassed
those up in the frame

so now here i weaken
know longer can I stand
as brandish yet silver
a sword in a yet my hand

and cry i do for children
the ones I'll never know
there loss is met with sorrow
while death does so blow

So now i live up high
i watch his every name
i never slept around
for i was drugged and framed

and now i no yet mercy
for he feels its soften edged
as hold back all my will
to push king James off a ledge
