And there you are, in our hearts,
Like you said you always would be,
Quenching the fire of anguish,
Making our pain flee,
Drying away the ocean
We used to drown in for so long,
An ocean of tears cried out
By souls both weak and strong,
Warming the frozen heartplace
No other could hope to thaw,
Building a stronger shelter
From a world that's gone too raw;
Dazzling with unseen radiance
Those who care for you at all,
Taking their fate in your hands,
Making sure they never fall,
Opening our eyes to your sunshine,
Filling our minds with joy,
Washing away all evils
Just the spiteful to annoy;
Spinning the world on your finger,
Watching us all through your light,
The sun and the stars and the moonshine
Are your untiring sight;
Mocking death in your splendor,
Surpassing all categories,
Making your love our life's goal,
Putting our hearts at ease.
