America mourned in unison,
In unison sought relief,
In the anthems it took courage,
And the strength to rise from grief,

Saber-rattling has been broadcast
Over mighty CNN,
'They have kicked the mighty giant
And we're kicking back again.'

And the lessons they are many
For us all out here to learn;
Mother Nature's tutorials
For our friends who ever yearn

To be only Lords and Masters
Of everything they survey,
Well they'll pretty soon discover
What it means to wreck the day.
