King Money Saw Honesty Walk Along Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

King Money Saw Honesty Walk Along

King Money saw Honesty walk along
To himself said: ‘I shall tempt her or else
Get her by entrapping her'

Thus through his magic powers he him
Transformed into fruit trees of kinds
And colors.

And threw a summer heat.

Smiled Honesty and on her way she went.

For often Honesty ruses sees and thus avoids
Entrapments laid for her to fall; be caught.
