King Marley Poem by Phil Soar

King Marley

Rating: 5.0

He lies on the sofa like he rules the home
He only gets down if you hand him a bone
And it's good that he thinks he is king around here
We love him so much he has nothing to fear

For ten years and more he has made this his place
Most things that he does put a smile on the face
Nothing else matters to him as he dreams
Even though the sofa is torn at the seams
