Kinfolks Poem by Dorsey Baker

Kinfolks

Human-beings of the world
we are all kinfolks
why in the world
can't we be just one
happy family
we are all kinfolks
and it don't look good
when kinfolks
cannot get along
we are all human-beings
and we know
right from wrong
Human-beings of the world
we are all kinfolks
why in the world
can't we be just
one happy family
this 'ol earth
is the place where we live
don't be remembered for what you take
be remembered for what you give
we are all kinfolks
and you are just as much
a part of the family as anyone else!
