Kick The Can Poem by Dimitrios Cofinas

Kick The Can

Kick the can,
Kick it down the street,
Kick it onto the road,
Kick it over the field,
Kick it at a car,
Then at a garage door,
Kick the floor,
Kick to the rhythm of the can,
Kick it into the dark night,
Keeping on kicking till it makes no sense,
Kick it to the shop for those 5 pence,
Kick until the tin bends,
Is this what you really want to do?
Be a can kicker,
Kicking until it makes no sense,
Kick it till you get your 5 pence.

Kick the can,
Kick it down the street,
Kick it onto the road,
Kick it over the fence,
Kick it until you don’t care,
Kick the can, kick the can,
Kick the can for 5 pence.
