Wow! Richard, I can just see the two of them meeting on a fateful day somewhere on Columbia campus. The discussion must have been characterised by absolutely 'no manure'. The exchange between the two must have been epic. This verse takes me back in history. Absolutely terrific verse, Richard!

MJ, I read about that meeting in one of the Kerouac biographies. I was so moved by it that it inspired me to write this poem. And yes, there was no BS in that discussion. Thank you so much for your very positive response.
