Keep Me Poem by Bernadeth Tolentino

Keep Me

Go ahead and call me stupid.
I don't mind one bit.
Call me an idiot
Just as long as I'm yours.

Remember my heart?
That small one in the corner.
Even if its all torn up
I'll be glad to hand it over.

Rip me to pieces
if you really have to.
It's better to hurt when I'm with you
than not see you at all.

Drown me, beat me, kill me
It's completely fine.
It wont compare to the pain I'll feel
when you finally let go...

So if I beg,
with everything I have
will you keep me?
