Keep Embracing The Cross

Keep embracing the Cross
For it shall never lose its power
His blood still sufficient for the forgiveness of sin
His grace still available each hour
What a lovely name...
The name of Jesus Christ
See Him in His suffering
Our living Sacrifice!

It was not His sin that placed Him there
For He was placed there by our God
The greatest thing that He was ever guilty of?
He was found completely guilty of love
The whole of our sin He bore for us
On the Cross that day
Past, present, and future
He has power to wash them away!

The Cross is the emblem of love
The Lord Jesus Christ was lifted up
And every heart that repents of sin
One day with Him shall sup!
He arose that I might be raised
No wonder my heart shouts hallelujah!
When you place your faith in Jesus Christ
It's like Heaven is brought unto yah...

O come and enjoy a life
That is totally out of this world
It here! ...right in front of you!
It's found in God's blessed Word!
It has authenticity..hallelujah!
Though they've tried to extinguish it such
The Word of God will preserve for ever
For it alone has Heaven's touch!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
