The best friend I've ever known
when my heart grows a silent tone
I'll always be here to help you through
I'll ease the pain when he hurts you
when depression hits and takes away
all your true joy, my light of day
you are there to carry me along
even when your world seems so wrong
so please please don’t take your life
remember how you felt when I tried
you took my fear of that lonely knife
so don’t take that from me now
when you want to just think of how
my world turned to those dark sins
