Karmish Delirium - Powdered Gold, Injected Dreams Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Karmish Delirium - Powdered Gold, Injected Dreams

Delusions, illusions
never will I wake
shiver through my days
rise to wake and bake
a thick coat of smoke
covering my blinded eyes
never will I feel the pain
my actions leave behind
cocaine, heroine
spoons and melted tar
track marks spread
smoke that will not scar
I wake in different places
people come and go
who am I? , I'll ask
This I'll never know
beyond my rebelious spirit
I cry these tainted tears
I swallow my half hearted pride
exhale out my fears
