Kamerans Poem Poem by Lacie Hebert

Kamerans Poem

In the depths of sorrow, my heart's been torn apart,
A love that once existed, now just a fading art.
My ex-boyfriend, taken too soon, in heaven he resides,
I'm left here in this world, missing him, my tears I cannot hide.

He left behind a daughter, a precious little one,
Growing up without a father, a battle yet undone.
A grieving mom, left with memories and despair,
Praying for strength, for healing, for a burden she can't bear.

Please come back to me,
I'm lost without your love, can't you see?
But I know you're in a better place, free from all the strife,
I'll cherish our memories, throughout this precious life.

And though I'm left here grieving, in sadness I reside,
I'll keep you in my heart, forever by my side.¹
But I'll find the strength to carry on, to live and to survive,
For in the midst of darkness, new sparks of life will thrive.
