Father my mind is thinking again..can't stop it..just takes off on it's own
Oh..You were stirring it up again..so the answers to my questions are known
Yes..I have been wondering..when a correction was made by You
When we were shivering in our boots..wondering what we needed to do
Did You listen to us fumbling through..with a Loving Fatherly Smile
or when You heard some of the exuses we made..did it make You run a mile
Did You roll Your Eyes..fall back with laughter..as we do with little ones down here
Are these Times recorded in Your Book..as You hold them all so dear?
I used to picture You my Lord..when I was jumping up and down in my head..
with a solid gold pair of earmuffs on..so You wouldn't hear a word I said
Oh how I would talk and talk to You..good thing Your Head doesn't ache
But all aside..let me say to You now..what a perfect Father You make!
