Just Who I Am Poem by Tim Adams

Just Who I Am

I'm not the Alpha, not the Omega,
nothing more than what you see.
I don't see myself as king or pauper,
Just what God intended me to be.

I've had triumphs, I've made mistakes
more the latter than I care to say,
but one thing is certain when I rise
I pray God let me be better than I was yesterday.

Each day has its challenges to which I try
to meet and come out ahead,
and I thank my God for giving me
that day's lessons when I go to bed.

So judge not what I do or say
until you've walked a while in my shoe,
because while you have been judging me
others have most certainly been judging you.
