Just Stay Poem by Matteo Maciel

Just Stay

Rating: 4.5

Today I watched you leave.
I no longer had hope reinstored for us
I asked those around me what they thought of you no longer being around
As they all whispered to me ' don't let her go'
the tears in my face came strolling down.
Now I am here begging you to just stay.
I promise to work on myself,
but stay for we deserve to work this out.
You deserve to have my last name
You deserve to be held every night
so let me be him who holds you.
So please just stay.

Love is a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly - a voyage of pure bliss. It's also whimsical and temperamental, appearing unannounced and may leave without warning, if not carefully nurtured at all times to maintain its bliss. A well articulated piece of poetry, insightfully penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Matteo. when someone decides to leave, there is no love left to reignite.
