one moment i want nothing more than to be with them
and the next i realize that
what i have could be better.

it's easy to forget whats great
if you're only subtly reminded of the good
and constantly presented with what you think can't have.

i wish
i could be
knocked over
by a huge overwhelming wave
of how good my life is
everyday
like i was today

if i only wish to be like them
i cant never hope
to be
just
me
