Just Like A Child Poem by Edwina Aleme

Just Like A Child

(A love song with Chrisphael)

He: I am here to play, not to fight

Do not defend yourself against me

I am only a child, here to play

Take me to your bosom tonight

Of your milk of kindness, feed me

I am only a child, here to stay

Show me the way that is right

The way I can love you and you me

I am only a child, yours today.

She: You are just like a child,

Yes just like one that I conceived

I will cuddle you just like mine

I know you love to play and cry

Like a child that has come off age

I will show you a way; right to fly

You are just like a child

I will feed you with milk of care

You will see me always share

I will love you at each exhale

You are mine today; love you like mine

All of jove will bear witness; I will inhale.
