Just Knew You Poem by Ainin Sofiya

I just knew you for a couple of days,
never knew it will leave such a big trace...
never even knew the minute I met you will change my life around,
turning all of my frowns upside down..

I used to think that no one can ever replaced him in my heart,
but you took that thought away in just a snap..
it feels so good having you there beside me,
laughing and joking around as if it's meant to be....

I can't believe that you're leaving next semester,
when I'm already starting to dream of us being together...
maybe it's already written down that we're not meant to be which i guess it's fate,
and I realised I should've open my heart long time ago and now it's too late...

And now what's left in my mouth is just a simple goodbye,
watching you slowly fade away as the days passed by..
the LAST thing I want is for you to leave me all alone,
because YOU is the place where my heart truly belongs...
