Just Another Poem by Cece Dev

I'm just another link
in the chain of life.
I look like all the others
and sometimes I feel smothered
by all the grief and pain.

only when I'm gone.
But even that is something
you can't quite put your finger on.
I am just another person
walking on the street
stepping ever so lightly
on my weary feet.
To you, invisible
under this grey sheet.
Why this is,
I do not know.
But one thing is certain,
I'm just another
