Just A Haze Poem by Amber Elzey

Just A Haze

Rating: 5.0

She made the choices
and sided wit the voices
I closed my eyes
and thought of all the lies
took a deep breath
not knowing she had met her death

suddenly I got punched in the face with all her rage
then I grabbed my 12 gauge
smacked her across the face
I lost my cool and my pace

tackled her to the ground
with a bone-crushing sound
waved the gun
and said 'we're going to have some fun! '

sneak attack
from the back
the gun went off
then a faint cough
pool of blood
caused a flood
of the good ol' days
now everythings just a haze
