Just A Crumb Poem by jolenish fiber

Just A Crumb

Give me just a crumb,
so desperate and pathetically
yearning for just a taste.

A taste of what once was,
or might have been,
it all seems a delusion now.

Now a delusion
from all the time that has passed
before us, it was so long ago.

So long ago and yet so near,
my memory only haunts me
to plea for just a dropp of that.

A dropp of that wonderful
familiar flavor of what might have been
and of what once was.
