Indulge? Poem by jolenish fiber

Indulge?

Rating: 4.5

Hit me with your chains of ignorance,
tell me I'm running away,
I will bear those chains as my skin,
I will run faster than any other human being;
you will never know the travel desire and wonder lust
I feel in my meaty bones.
I will make it last, but I will cheat on you in my mind.
I will nurture, but as soon as you feel my warmth I have turned away form you again
Cold?
Nonsense, I am me, I could never be cold.
Just as soon as you think you see me I'm gone,
I have left to not indulge, not in fear,
Yes, I have gone for my soul.

Satisfaction is what we need, why not indulge. Show Forgiveness! LOL! I like your poems. Positive and strong emotion lie in most of them.
