Jungle-Gym Whispers Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Jungle-Gym Whispers

My body wrapped in his
his arms around me
around my everything
I stare at the sky
lean back and pull my legs towards my chest
my body feels useless
I feel so numbed
I can not smile nor cry
I sit there
and think of him
I wish he was here
I wish he would hold me
I wish he would want me like this
I close my eyes
look up
and whisper...
I need him
