Jump With Me Poem by R.P. Coursey

Jump With Me

Rating: 5.0

Standing on the edge
Of the cliff
Looking down at Rough River Lake
From 30 ft up…

Clear the mind
Look up at the sky-

And jump

Hold your breath
On the way down
Because you never know
When you’ll hit
The water’s surface-

You penetrate and
feel the shock
of the cold water-

Never quite enough air-

Which way is up?

How long will it take
to breathe air again?

Relax
And float
To the surface-

Look up at the cliff
And watch me

jump

Ahhh, very creative I like the large space between the stanzas, giving the feeling of falling.

that is way to assimilation love transcends by the clarity absolute acceptance plays in mute undertone colors of love when cascades on the rungs of rippling river, ........great imagery, i like it,10+, thanks for sharing
