In these eyes, I carry
The love we shared.
In this heart, I sow
The hope of your return.
My shoulders bent
My eyes downcast
I walk towards you
I walk towards my past.
time comes to a standstill
The world stands stagnant
It is you and I once again, my love
Just the two of us to be united.
I carry dreams, I carry hope
I carry love for you
This heart beats, this heart calls
For you to see the truth.
Let the past be buried
Let bygones be bygones
Let us share the love again
For it has been quiet long.
Give me your hand
Let’s cover this distance together
With your hand in mine
There’s no storm I can’t weather.
With stretched arms
And closed eyes
I wait for you to come back

Alas! Your footsteps lead you
