Journey Poem by Vikrant Nayak

Journey

Oh the love of my life,
fly against the north wind, searching for your home.
In the fallen leaves find your shelter,
for I will be lost in the forest.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In most of the mythologies, North wind is associated with storms and the chillness of winter. So north wind is someone who tries to force you back and deters you from resuming your journey. When that happens, you can definitely find shelter in the most unexpected of places i.e. even in the fallen leaves. Finally, even if you feel alone and deserted in the brewing storm, don't worry for 'your benefactor' will be there, albeit hidden, to guide you.
