Almost a year has passed
Since you left us that awful night
Thoughts of you always cross my mind
With fond memories that follow close behind
You always did have a smile on your face
But I know to well
That smile was hiding that deep dark empty place.
Over and over I still ask myself why you
Left us and didn't even say goodbye
It hurts knowing that your not with us here
We miss you so much Joseph
Just thinking of you brings more tears
What I would give to see you one more time
I'd tell you we miss you and love you
Then ask why did you leave us all behind
